The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is a Japanese animated science fiction romance film which first released on July 15, 2006.The film was directed by Mamoru Hosoda. The story of the film originally was based on the novel The Girl Who Leapt Through Time written by Yasutaka Tsutsui on 1967 and revised into a new version in the movie.
