These two Japanese animated films were produced by the Japanese animation company MADHOUSE.
Characters
Kenji Koiso
A high school student who has talent with mathematics. He is a part- time moderator in the computer-simulated virtual reality world called, OZ. He likes Natsuki.
Kenji's senior sister in high school.
Her first love was Wabisuke Jinnouchi.
Natsuki's 89 year old great grandmother who is a strong and powerful woman. She is always the greatest support of Jinnouchi family . She also have influences and connections in the highest ranks of financial and political circles.
Wabisuke Jinnouchi
Natsuki's uncle and also Natsuki's first love. A computer expert and a professor of Carnegie Mellon University.He is the illegitimate son of Natsuki's great grandfather, Manzo. He was adopted and raisedby Sakae Jinnouchi. He also cares Sakae very deeply.
Kazuma Ikezawa
Natsuki's cousin.A 13 years old boy who is very good at grapple in computer world.
OZ
A massive computer-simulated virtual reality world.People have their own avatar in this virtual reality world. They can go shopping, have entertainments, play games, social with others... etc. This system also will affect meatspace things, such as medical system, transportation system, even Missile guidance system.
People use OZ system to do everything.

Love Machine
An artificial intelligence invented by military who invaded and disturbed the OZ system.
Plot
Kenji Koiso is a high school student who has talent in mathematics.
One day, his senior sister at school, Natsuki, invited him to go to her great grandmother 90 years old's birthday party. So they went to Natsuki's great grandmother house at Ueda. He met several relatives of Natsuki but later on he found he became the "boyfriend" of Natsuki. Because the real reason that Natsuki want him to come to the party with her is to pretend to be her boyfriend.
That night, Kenji received a text with a string of mysterious number which is a mathematical code. Then he unriddle of it. The code he unlocked actually is the code of OZ system.
But on the next day, he saw his face showed on TV as a crime who is wanted. An artificial intelligence call, "Love machine" in the OZ system, stole Kenji's account and his avatar to overran the system.
This artificial intelligence started to destroy the OZ world. He interrupted the system which will also the real world, such as medical system and transportation system in reality world.
Even Natsuki's great grandmother was affected by this trouble. The pacemaker of her great grandmother was also control by OZ system. After "Love machine" spoiled OZ system, the pacemaker didn't worked out. Unfortunately, Sakae Jinnouchi passed away.
So, Kenji, Natsuki and all the Jinnouchi family member decided to fight back and save the OZ system with the power of united......
All the Jinnouchi family members united to fight back.
Reflection
This animated film reflects the problem the real world might have, that is nowadays people are too rely on technology and network. For example, we used social networking platform like Facebook, to social with other. Also we can go shopping on Internet. And when we go to visit another place, if we get lost, we can just take out our phone which able to surf on internet to search the map.
Technology leads our life become more convenient, but it can't be entire. I think that's what the movie want to tell us.
"Never turn your back on your family, especially when the time is rough."
The other important point the movie try to tell us is the importance of family.
We can see the strong relationship between the Jinnouchi family,they support each other, care for each other,face danger and fight back together.
Family is always the strongest entanglement. And also the deep care in our life.
We can understand how the warm and deep feelings of family through this film.
wow I really like the plot of this animation film, it really reflects our modern life. Maybe I'll watch it soon :)
