Kimi ni Todoke

Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You is a Japanese anime television series.
The anime was original came from the manga work illustrated and written by Karuho Shiina. This manga won the Best Shōjo Manga award in the 32nd Annual Kodansha Manga Award.
Kimi ni Todoke have two seasons. First season released in 6 Oct, 2009. The first season has 25 episodes. The second season has 13 episodes and broadcasted at 4 Jan, 2011. Both two seasons are directed by Hiro Kaburaki and produced by Production I.G.



























Characters

Sawako Kuronuma

Sawako is a shy but a honest girl. Because of her appearance, long black hair and her shy perosnality, since she was a child, her classmates thought she might possibly have ability of psychic. But she didn't have that kind of power, people still avoid contact with her. They call her, "Sadako"(a ghost in Japanese movie).
Even though, people often avoid her, Sawako still is a girl with kind heart. She just doesn't know how to express her feeling. When she went to the high school, she met Kazehaya.Because their personalities are totally opposite, Sawako was very admired Kazehaya.
Through his helped, Sawako gradually have interaction with classmates and eliminated others' wrong impression on her. She also have close friends for the first time in her time. Later on she found out she has feeling for Kazehaya.

Shota Kazehaya

Kazehaya is a outgoing boy. He used to be a members of baseball team. Others' first impression on him is nice and  hearty. He usually will become the core of a class and also very popular amoing girls.
He has strong sense of justice. He judges people by their personality rather than their appearance. So he would not follow the rumors or others' opinions. The first day of high school, he met Swako. At that time she left him good impression. Yet, later on he found out other people have wrong impression on her. So he determined to help Swako.

Ayane Yano
Ayane is one of Swako close friends in high school. She has a mature look which doesn't look like a high school student.  She has interest in fashion and cosmetic. She is good at observing and have great intuition. When Swako faces problems, she usually will give her advises and help her.

 Chizuru Yoshida
Chizuru is one of Swako close friends in high school. She is a girl with hearty and open-handed personality. Even simple thing she will easily touched.  Chizuru is also very good at sport. She, Kazehaya and Ryu were in the same junior high before and she has known Ryo since they were little.
Just like Ayane, when Swako faces problem, she will help her recklessly.

Ryu Sanada

Ryu is one of Swako's high school classmates. He is Kazehaya's best friend. They were in the same baseball team in junior high. Ryu is a boy doesn't talk to much, but he always be honest to his friends. His family runs ramen store. He and Chizuru know each other since they were child. 

Ume Kurumizawa
A very pretty girl in Swako's high school. People usually call her, "Kurumi". Kurumi is a girl with model- look, she is very popular amongs boys. She likes Kazehaya since junior high school, so later on when she found Kazehaya and Swako became close friend, she was very jealous. So she spread rumor about Swako and tried to trick her.

Kento Miura

Kento is one of Swako's friends in high school.
He usually give others a impression of playboy, because he has pretty face and popular among girls.
Later on he met Swako and surprised by her kind personality and gradually became friends with her.

 

Plots

  Sawako Kuronuma is a shy girl. Since she was a child, her appearance usually let people leave wrong impression on her that is－ she have ability of psychic. Yet, she didn't have that kind of power.
The first day of high school started, Swako went to a new class, no matter how hard she tried to know others, but other classmates seems to afraid to talk to her. Yet, there was boy, Kazehaya, who is always the core of class, outgoing and kind to everyone. He has total different image from Swako. When everyone don't want to responsible for class works and Swako decided to volunteer for those things, Kazehaya stood out and spoke for her.

Swako remembered that since the first time they met on their way home, he was the person who was so kind. He was also the first one who would not judged her appearance and want to talk to her......
